Console switch size

I need the exact dimensions of the blank center console switch hole. I plan on removing the blanks and installing heated seats. I used the search. And, for the life of me, I can't track the dimensions, just the fj fog and blank switches that fit.

Thanks!

Old thread I know. My wife had the 4Runner out of town and I was looking for this information as well but after an exhaustive forum search, I don't think the information is there to be found (coincidentally, I was planning on ordering heated seats). The 4Runner is back so I took some measurement for the next guy. Incidentally, it looks like the switches in this listing will work with a tiny bit of modification (<1.5mm each side) to the to the inner part console hole and it should look almost factory.

This is the one I went with. Very minor modifications. Just a file to slightly make the opening bigger.

Carbon Fiber Universal Heated Seat Heater Kit 5 Position Dial Ships from USA | eBay

I felt it looked more stock. Works great. Plus the lighting is actually red versus the blue pictured. Lucked out, because it matches the orange so much better.

How hard was the install? It looks like something I'd love to do

Easy. But I did it at the time of a leather install.

Those definitely look more like the stock switches. How do you turn them on? I didn't go with them because I thought you'd have to spin the knob to turn them on. I was reading the wiring manual and it looks like on the stock ones, you press the dial to turn it on.

My first 4runner had factory. These are more like factory. You spin the dial to turn them on. That's how the factory works.
