So with the engine jacked on the passenger side I kept working on that side. First cleaning the heads with some emery cloth and then installing the Titanium studs.

Next up was installing the dipstick tubes while the header is still loose. This one kicked my ass because for some dumb reason I tried to use the old path for the oil tube. I read the instructions, but it didn't sink in. You have to bend the tube quite a bit and at one point it looked like an old twisted up rope. It was late so I got some rest and with a clear head, my dumb ass realized the obvious path. So I bent the tube as straight as possible and started over lol. DT provides an extended mounting bolt and spacer that works pretty well.

The driver side proved a little more challenging for access to the front bolt of the motor mount and a couple of the oem manifold bolts, as well as jacking up that side of the motor because of the differential, steering and accessories in the way. Everything worked out OK and the Sea Foam did it's job as well. NO BROKEN STUDS!!!!!!!!! All 16 came out pretty well. Here is the driver side as well as a clearance shot of the steering. Apparently there are some folks that have had some issues, mostly with the shorty tubes I guess. I don't see an issue here at all.

I also don't weld so I drove it with open headers over to my buddies shop to have a couple things addressed on the rest of the exhaust. New muffler will be soon to come though. Is that your suspension making all the rattling noises going over the bumps or did you have a can of rocks in the passenger's seat?
LMAO! Well there are quite a few things rattling around. Most notably a high lift strapped down, with Tools and recovery gear strapped on top of it, and several odds and ends in the console and glove box. Speed in the whoops is always a noisy endeavor.
