Sorry I don't have much detail or procedure, but doing this install in a single car garage and working by myself with no suspension experience, I was gettin my old self beat up lol.
So its not much of a thread compared to the Masters of the Build Thread on this site.
@ Antman
,
@ harper7
,
@ Titanpat57
,
@ LawnDart
, and
@ Okki
just to name a few. They all have detailed threads on a wide assortment of Mods.
@ 1engineer
has some of the best compiled info on a lot of the threads he has put together. Most of these Mods have already been done, and done well and documented well by the gentlemen listed above. I would not be attempting any of these mods with out this forum. The member posts, Build Threads, Stickys, and GBs I have scoured over in the past 10 months are numerous and greatly appreciated!!
Thank you T4R.org for all the knowledge!!
2nd and 3rd pic is front suspension mostly completed.
Still have the driver side
@ MStudt
Sway Bar link to install and check torque on everything, then I'm on to the back end. Putting in King Adj., 2" Icon springs, Icon Trailing arms, Upper Links, Track bar, and MStudt rear Sway Bar links, so any tips, warnings, encouragement, and ugh (criticism) is welcome. Attachment 247370

Looks good! Nice to see you go out of your comfort zone and succeed. I personally like doing my own work myself, most of the time...

that color is just fantastic. and that wheel combo...
i don't even have a driveway or a single garage. i think all the work i've done on my ride to date on my ride hasn't been under a roof, and i've been lucky if it was on concrete (perils of an unpaved driveway lol).
when there is a will, there is a way. and you seem to have a lot of will to mod your ride! keep it up!

Thanks Everyone!! I had a feeling about the Bronze on Blue. Pic makes the paint look really good. Truck had cosmetic issues when I bought it (front and rear bumpers dinged up, as well as a couple dents and scratches here and there. Perfect for lift, tires and mods though. Shrockworks bumper getting built.
@ HerT4R
, I have worked in the dirt before, so I feel your pain. Digging around for dropped hardware ain't much fun either. I am glad/lucky to have a garage, but at my age and height (6'6"), crawling under and around a project in such tight quarters gets old quick lol. But as you say, where there is a will.....this Forum has a way of doing that to you!
@ adam.friedman.33
Yes sir! Matte Dark Bronze. Made me realize I didn't include rim color in my sig. The SCS F5's are a few pounds less in weight than a lot of other rims too!

Evening test drive, nothing serious, a little sand to see if anything might be loose. Seems pretty solid. Road manners are good as well. My alignment tech told me the Total Chaos UCAs had the camber/caster in spec, he only adj the toe.

Nice bro, Those kings look nice, how do you like the way they ride?
Are the front dual compression or single?
You are brave for tackling this on with little experience.

Thanks, Not brave just ignorant. I've always owned beat up trucks in the past and just went for it. Why change? The go pro vid inside my truck is comical.
TBH I got the Kings on an MStudt GB awhile back (over kill for Florida), and I have a lot to learn about them. You tell me? They are #25001-278ADJ. single or duals? You guys out west are the shock innovators. I wanted something good to start with. The XREAS Sucks! It handles like a Porsche on the road now and I obviously have a lot to learn about them off. I know dirt bike trails are fun! I should have taken the rear ASB loose so at least the rears could extend. duh.
