Rethinking the BMC

While totally capable and willing to hack away, I took a step back. I’ve read all the threads my brain can take but can’t make a decision on the cut.
I’ve seen many cuts done as I have it taped off (please critique my lines) but I’ve also seen the entire end just lopped off. I don’t know if the end being lopped off is for 5th gen only or what but it seems so much easier. Can us 4th gen’ers do that??

Don't know if you've seen this video. I've never personally done one so I got nothing.

You can do whatever you want, it really doesn't matter as long as it gets you tire clearance.

I would look at where you're rubbing and cut appropriately. If it's more along the taped off area, do that. If its more on the end nub, off with his head.

The 3rd pic is how I have my body mount chop. I bought the plate from Metal Tech 4x4. I like it better than the common way[total chaos] that everyone else does their BMC's.
