What's with all the SR5 haters? LOL just kidding.
I opted for the SR5 because of the soft ride compared to my daily driver. My DD has a "sport-tuned" suspension and after driving it during the work week, I needed a vehicle so soothe my back.
My dd also has a dark interior similar to the SE. My 4Runner has the taupe cloth interior which I think is more upscale...although taupe leather seats would have been nice.
BTW, the new Highlander is out. Have you and your wife checked it out? I think there is more rear legroom and headroom than the 4Runner. Oddly enough the price on a Sport Highlander V6 AWD is comparable or more expensive than a V8 4Runner SE 4WD. [per CarMax.com]

We went today and picked the Sport. Thanks for the info it did help... paid alot of attention to the ride and feel of the vehicle.

We did test drive the Highlander about 2 weeks ago. The ride was smooth but seemed to be more of a mini van type then an SUV. The cross-overs are like the new station wagons. Plus they are not good for towing and it is AWD. Ground clearence could also be an issue.

Oh and my SR5 has power leather seats and steering wheel mounted stereo controls. Lots of other goodies that were ordered on it as well by the first owner. Guess they didnt like it since they got rid of it before it even had 10K on it, their loss, my gain!! The SR5 is as plush a vehicle as I'll ever need. Especially with the added Liqui-Cell leather seats. It rides like a dream, comfortable as a leather sofa, and looks bad ass.
You can't get much better than a 4Runner :bigok:

It is white, with the charcoal interior, sunroof, am/fm 6 cd, rear spoiler, wheel locks, carpet floor/cargo mats, sport roof rack/rails, daytime running lights, tow hitch, Sport pkg., and 3 spoke leather steering wheel with audio and cruise control, and all the normal stuff. Just love it!
Going to get a Rhino hitch step and front bull bar, hopefully soon. Haven't decided on a brand for the bull bar... any suggestions? Need something easy to install and with some good looks.
