Question Back Door (liftgate) outer weatherstrip R&R

The two piece liftgate outer weatherstrip has shrunk leaving gaps around the glass. I did a search but didn't find exactly what the R&R process was. If you know of a helpful link I would appreciate it.

Otherwise if you've done it yourself, I'd appreciate any info.

After ordering the wrong parts (Part #56117-64010 & #56117-74010) thanks to the very vague illustrations in the parts fiche. These turned out to be thin soft weatherstrips with a peel and stick backing. I realized that the correct parts are actually #68275-35020 & 68290-35031.

My 4R might look like a beater, but it's a rust free, body on frame, V8 with 180K and no computer screen. I'm determined to keep it going for the rest of my life.

Thanks in Advance!
Slim

The part numbers are in my comments just below the video. It's a fairly easy job. I've done the front left and right weather door window strips too and the 2nd row strips have reached that point as well. It appears they are done the same way as the front but the screw that holds it in is on the other end of the door, easy to find.

We have the 2004 V8 Sport with 163K and a 1999 Sienna XLE with about 136K. The wife says they can have the Sienna when they pry it from her cold dead hands. Both are great vehicles.

I think he's referring to the hatch's outer channel that the outside of the glass rides in.

At least that's what one of the part numbers he posted is for.
