Which of the 5 gears is the gear they added?

I know that toyota added a fifth gear to the 2005 4R. Does anyone know, what gear that was: L, 2, 3, 4, D?

I am hoping that they added the "L" gear as the fifth gear. For them to recognize the need for a lower gear versus a higher gear is awesome...hopefully I am correct.

Any thoughts???

They did not "add" a given gear, they just added a new gearbox containing 5 gears instead of 4.

It is not like all the ratios on the gears are identical expect one new one is added, they are all different.

Never looked at it like that......I guess that will work.

So not a specific gear but more "gear ratio" that it adds to another gear....???? I think that is what I got out of that.
 
Current 5 speed= In First 3.520, In Second 2.042, In Third 1.400, In fourth1.000, In fifth 0.716 Reverse= 3.224

Old 4speed= In First 2.804 In Second 1.531 In Third 1.000 In Fourth .705 - In Reverse 2.393
