Need a shop in FL to Install Icon, delete X-REAS?

Hello all,

I was hoping someone could recommend a good shop in Florida to install an Icon Stage 1 and disconnect X-REAS.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I've heard good things about North Florida Offroad in Jacksonville, but it's not that difficult to install yourself. You get to learn a lot about the truck in the process & save a good bit of money at the same time. I put on the OW 2.5" kit myself and it was pretty straightforward.
 
Thanks for the responses, guys. I think I've settled on Southern Custom to do the removal.

I'm still a bit nervous about it, as it seems a shame to remove the system from a week-old vehicle...but then again, I've heard nothing but AWESOME reviews from everyone who goes with the ICON system.

As soon as I get the install done, I'll post a write-up.
 
i just moved to indianapolis from gainesville. i've heard good things about them but have no personal experience with them. good luck with the install!! hopefully you won't need this but if you need any kind of collision/body work, one of my best friends owns a shop in gainesville called Automotive Super Sports. They do amazing work but mainly deal with insurance claims and stuff like that. They did all the work on my lifted jeep, and my subuaru sti. They can do ANYTHING car related! Anyways, just throwing that out there because it's hard to find a good honest shop sometimes. They are located right by the Toyota dealership too!!
 
UPDATE

I had Southern Custom in Alachua, FL install my lift. Couldn't be happier...they did a great job at a great price. Ryan set me up and made sure I came back in a week so he could double check that everything was tight and as it should be.

If you're in the North Florida area, give them a shot!

You notice anything that the XREAS was doing better than the ICON set up?

The factory X-REAS was certainly a little cushier in day-to-day driving. It did a relatively decent job of containing body roll.

The ICON system is a completely different animal. It is definitely a bit bumpier at low speeds, but it will shock you with its ability to soak up the larger bumps at higher speeds. I see "speed humps" now and think: "RAM SPEED!!!!!!"....

And whereas the X-REAS system did a good job of containing body roll, the ICON system utterly ENDS body roll. I'm still kind of babying the system a little bit while everything gets seated, but if handling is a concern for you—or you haul heavy loads— ICON is the ticket.

Runnyrunnerton...I plan to post a whole build thread, I'm just trying to get a chance to put one last part on before I do. I have step-by-step pictures along the way, so I can show the evolution in all of its gorgeous glory.

And maybe, just maybe, if I had a buddy who was still in the area I could have the extra hands I need to put this thing on.............:moon:

North Florida Off Road should be avoided. I spent $500+ to fix the damage they caused to my cam tabs on my LCAs from an alignment. I didn't dare ask them to fix it for fear of causing more damage.
 
Thanks mrvandelay - I haven't dealt with them personally; only passing on what I've been told by people who've dealt with them in the past. I'll take any dealings with them under advisement!
 
I can recommend a shop in Jacksonville if you're looking. There isn't really a Toyota-centric shop in the area, unfortunately. I've been using a shop that does some quality and complex Jeep restorations/work.

I was his first T4R, admittedly, but he's embraced it! It's nice to pick up my 4R and not have to worry if everything is torqued properly or done right.
