2 minutes with a dremmel and a steady hand could fix it to make the indentation.
I think they're pretty groovy.

I advise you guys to use some good 3M double back tape on those, and cover the entire back side. Given that there made of metal and not plastic. Id hate to see one fall off and chip some paint on its way down.

i agree that the uppercase second "T" reads as "TRATL".
if you shorten the ascender on the "i", and tighten up the kerning between the "AIL" it reads more clearly as "Trail", to my eyes. i like the incorporation of the TRD type—nice touch.
rough edit below, rendered on Pixelmator for iPad:

If someone got a more touched up version with sandcrawlers and Cody's suggestions, I'm sure you could get a group buy for about 200 of them in about ten seconds flat. I'd be first to sign up

It looks confused. All the letters look different sizes but good first draft!

You could always get your dremel out and make a slight releif where the white line is on the image below, shorten the left side to match the right side of the "T", then paint.....
It may break it up as in the TRD logo.
Or have him do a re-do!
just sayin'.....

I think it looks pretty good. Just narrow the bar at the top of the I a bit and maybe do the Dremel stuff later if you choose. Shortening the I top bar would do quite a bit to make it more legible as Trail.

I'd like them made out of aluminum or plastics

Anyone pursue Sand's fixed version? Agree, long list of people would certainly buy.

Looks dumb. There are several ways the emblem could be modified to more clearly identify the individual letters. Some good suggestions so far. Also, thread is hilarious that OnPoint gets ass hurt when people criticize him, yet 9/10 of his posts are instigating others. Dish it out but can't take it.

Welcome to T4R.ORG.... that's one heck of a first post it's got everything in as little space as possible. Insult, constructive criticism, name drop, swearing, statistics, and loose conclusion.... in that order.
You have set the bar pretty high man...
