When researching the retractable cargo cover, I wasn't able to find any photos showing the "gaps" behind the seats and at the rear that everyone was discussing. I decided that some coverage in the cargo area is better than none, and got a good price on it at my local dealer, so I went ahead and bought one.
Also, I was curious before buying how it attached inside the truck. One end is spring-loaded, and that allows you to install it similar to a shower curtain. The ends pop into the square recesses on the side walls in the rear. Easily removable for when you need to fold the seats down and haul something large.
Thought these photos might help anyone researching this product.
Cell phone photo through the back window, showing the gap that allows the seats to recline. I understand the need for this gap to allow the seats to move:

Looking toward the gap at the back window. Not sure there is a good excuse for this from a design standpoint.
It's not a perfect product, but all in all, it does conceal a good bit of the cargo area, and for $105 + tax, it might save a break-in down the road, so I would buy it again. You could potentially be strategic about where under the cover you place your cargo, to prevent it from being seen at certain angles.
