Yeah I hope so too. My captain has a brand new F150 with less than 500 miles on it and it also got annihilated. The body shop told him they'll have it two months. I might have to purchase a beater cause my rental will run out at $900.

That sucks. I hate hail. The wife and I will go seek shelter for our 4runners if it looks like we're going to get hailed on.
On the positive side, mythbusters proved that you can increase the mpg by putting a bunch of small dents in the sheetmetal.

I feel your pain. My 3rd gen got stuck in a hail storm a few years ago. My dad had bought me a special cover to protect from hail when I had to park it outside. Needless to say the cover didn't help. It had holes all in it where the hail went straight through.

My heart goes out to you. We have hail this time of year in Colorado and it can be devastating.
I have seen some serious hail damage but that I must say is probably the worst.
I seriously doubt paintless dent repair can fix that (those are some serious dents) but curious to see if they can.
Good luck brother. I'd be hoping for a total and start over with a new T4R.

My Truck was hit two years ago with something like $8k of hail damage, it would have been a lot more but the steel roof rack prevented almost all roof damage, insurance cut me a check very quickly. Got a new windshield and at some point I should get more of it fixed, your truck is certainly newer than mine but I know that feeling. My biggest dissapointment is that the cleanest spot on the truck is passenger front fender, the one made for snorkels, oh well, nothing lasts forever.
The positive is now its Moab ready and body damage doesn't mean much anymore!

Everyone that sees it is in shock and can't believe that it was hail. Every time I step out of the door and see it I'm amazed at how bad it looks. The is a spot on every panel that cracked the paint, so I'm guessing 80% of the truck will need a respray. And that last pic of the windshield under the wiper I can push in with my finger. So I'm not sure if there was a support under there that was damaged. I'm going to take pics of when the windshield is taken out.

With all the hail we got in DFW this year rental cars were hard to get for a while so keep that in mind. Seemed the quicker you got it in the shop the better chance you had.
Also be aware of all the PDR "shops" that pop up over night.
1 more thing to think about. Depending on what kind of roof your house has golf ball size hail will destroy a composite shingle roof. My insurance covered mine this year so have a roofing company check it out if your house was hit.

I am not sure if this has been brought up and it may sound obvious, but as soon as you notice the hail start coming down why didn't you pull the truck into the garage? If that is not an option, at least try covering it with a tarp or something to lessen the damage.

Last year there was a hail storm here in SA about pea size. The next day I inspected my truck for any damage and saw none, but a few month later I was washing her and saw my passenger side was damaged. To see the dents natural light has to hit it just right to see. I didn't get it fixed because of that reason.
This year we got hit again and damaged many cars and homes. Luckily the storm was about a mile North from where I live and didn't get a drop of rain. A lot of dealerships got hit too. BMW of San Antonio has a whole lot of cars they have discounted with hail damage.
Good luck on getting yours fixed.

Cause I wasn't at home, I was at work 30 miles away. We didn't get anything but thunderstorms at home.
