Your take on TRD Pro grille and blacking out the chromes on Ltd?

I think the upper option looks way better than the second. If it were me, I would add the TSO garnish with out letters and black out all the chrome. I've seen a total chrome black out on a few Barcelona red limited, which look *****'n. The garnish would put it over the top.
Btw, the group buy ends tonight, so make up your mind quick. The stock garnish has dimples on it behind the letters.

I’d say the top one. I’ve done the total chrome blackout withe color mated door handles, but I’ve thought about doing the color matched fog light bezels with the TRD upper grill.

I blacked out the upper grill and the chrome on my back hatch with plasti-dip. The handles, fog bezels and lower trim I sanded/ brushed for a brushed nickel look. The contrast of the black and white pearl just didn't look good (in my opinion).

The hard thing about the Limited is that there's so much chrome that it's hard to decide what to black out if you don't do all of it. If you black out the front end but not the little strips on the lower part of the bumper, I think that looks weird. If you black out the window trim but leave the door handles and the lower door trim, again, that looks weird. If you black out just the door handles, there's still chrome above and below (window trim and bottom door trim). Etc. What you do to the lower bumper chrome trim you also have to do to the lower door chrome trim since they're the same line (IMO).
The one piece that really bothers me is the massive chrome bar across the front end - it's just too gaudy. I think I'm going to try blacking out the straight portion of that bar this weekend, ending at the almost vertical lines where it starts to form the formal fog light surround. In the top pic, this would have meant extending it another 2-3" on either side - right to that vertical line - but creating an appearance that only the foglight surrounds are chrome.
This is the first time I've seen the TRD Pro grille on the Limited and I can't say I really like it - at least with a partial chrome bar below it. I like things to be as monotone or dual tone as possible, so metallic black, flat black, chrome, silver, etc. is a little too much for my tastes.
Given the choices above, I'd have the second rig, delete the chrome running boards, leave the top bar chrome, love the blacked out chrome bar on bottom, leave the emblem chrome, and leave the small strips at the bottom of the bumper chrome.

I say go with the pro grill, but instead of blacking or chroming just color match it to the white paint and get rid of the hood visor

Not really a fan of the all black look, but it can be done very well, as someone mentioned above with the red/black LE that's floating around T4R. If I had a pearl LE, I might go for the full black out/stormtrooper look, with white letter tires and the TRD grill lettering.

You are right. The LE has too much chrome and you would have to black out all of them if you want it to look more appealing and “right”.
One of my friends bought a Ltd with SR5 front bumper,I think that looks better with the chrome.

Mine is a '13 LE, but here's how I solved my issue with the grill.
