Any CB Radio users?

Anyone else have a CB setup in their trucks?
If so I'd love to see/hear about what ya'll are using and how it's working out

I've got a Cobra 29 LTD Chrome that's been serving me well, with a 5 foot antenna I picked up at a truck stop. I just wish it could go a little dimmer on the displays.
I had to do some modification to my roof rack and antenna mount to get it to fit and hold the heavy thing but it turned out great!
If I had to guess it'd be 5-10 miles, although I've heard some guys from about 30 down the interstate before. (granted I live somewhere where literally everything is line of sight it's so flat.)
I've only got about 5ft of Coax though and I've heard that might diminish range.

I can't find anywhere to install the radio. The 4th Gen has nowhere that is doable for an installation without adding a bracket somewhere. I already have a bracket for my Satellite radio, my add-on backup camera and the mag mount for the cell phone.

I used to do a lot of CB back in the 70s-80s but it's just gathering dust on the shelf now. Most of the information about the road and bears is available on the map apps.

I wound up mounting mine with a lot of Velcro strips to the driver's side of the center console. (kinda like how some cop cars do it for the siren controls) I totally agree the 4th gen is really rough for mounting these, even my old Cobra 19 was hard to fit anywhere.
