I am a member on the Arizona 4Runners page on FB where I heard all about this.
I wish I had known beforehand before purchasing. The ridiculous 6+ month wait time and then the shipping in itself took almost a month. I had to literally bug them for order updates. And when the bumper finally did show up, it arrived scraped up which leads me to believe the powder coating job was not as good. I believe they send the bumpers out to someone else to powder coat They said they'd make things right, and pay to have a local guy do it, but never followed up and would only pay a tiny amount to fix it, when we all know damn well that a quality powder coat job is more than $114. Keep in mind I am living in NY at the time, so i couldn't just go up there and check on it.
The bumper itself seems built well, but I am not too sure I want something on my truck that was built by this company anymore, so if something better comes around in the future, I will probably sell this one and get something else.
Forgot to add that the shipping company that took the bid to ship the bumper was the worst shipping company in the existence of shipping companies.
Weren't they trying to sell their built rock crawling Jeep for some insane amount like 42k awhile back? I wondered if that was because they knew things were going downhill?
All in all it sucks. Glad there are still fabrication companies left out there though, I may look into something different in the next few years if I keep this rig.
