I have tested the following marked slots with a lamp tester and discovered that they provide power even though the key is not in ignition/not in ACC position. I have the following questions;
1. Can I use any of these marked slots to power 2 LED festoon lights (VLED 6418) in the cargo area? It will be controlled with a on/off button or switch.
2. If yes, are there any negative implications? Battery drain, eventual dead battery etc.?
Yes I can wire them like others have done here, which is to run with existing rear cargo lights but would like to try this option first as it would be less tedious. My plan B was to wire them like others have done which is well documented here.
