Pics of TRD or ORP wheels on Limited?

Hey guys, I have my name on a '22 Limited in black. I had a 2015 TEP which was great, but I'm a big car flake so I churned through a few other cars. Cayenne, SQ5, etc.

I thought about another ORP but to be honest I'll do 95% street, with some snow/ice and maybe logging roads. And, I wanted AWD/Torsen vs driving in 2wd all the time.

I prefer the looks of the ORP but I'll be able to mod.

One of the first things I will need to do is move away from the "big guy with skinny legs" look of the narrow 20s. I'm leaning towards some used 17s off of an ORP or TRD. Any pics out there? Seems like it's tough to make 17s look great on a Limited.

So, not as "cool" as the ORPs, but back in the game. Looking forward to learning & mods.

There should be plenty of posts and threads about this as TRD Pro wheels are one of the most common first mods on Limiteds.

yeah, thanks. Search on the site isn't great. "Limited TRD wheels" doesn't give you much. But, I did more digging and am finding a few. Thanks! I think I may like the brushed-face ORP wheels on the Limited a bit more than TRD. Will have to see. Thanks.

This was a car I sold a couple of years back, but I don't remember having to trim anything at all and there was no rubbing. The Falken's were very quiet for an all terrain tire.

Thanks for the reply. Was that the factory stance or was it lifted at all? (and then I'll leave you alone, promise...).
 
Put SR5 rocker covers on and install wheel spacers. The TRD OR wheels have the same offset as Limited wheels so you're not getting anything there. You could put on wider tires, a whole 20mm lol and get the same result. I put 1 1/4 spacers on my OffRoad and it gave the truck the perfect stance. The Limited thread listed above has tons of great ideas.
 
Yeah, I am not a fan of going outside of tire specs and putting 275s on the 7” 20s. And I want to reduce some weight and gain some sidewall.

The difference with the 7.5”w 17s is subtle but that plus 265 vs 245 does give a different look.

Do you have Nightshade Limited edition wheels or standard Limited edition wheels? I'd be interested in buying Nightshade wheels if you were trying to do something like that at one point later on!
 
That might look cool. Then you should lower it, too :)

I'm like 99% function, 1% form. For me, on the street, my typical approach is to find the smallest, lightest wheels I can find. Same on my 911. From a performance POV the only benefit to the 20s is going to be *slightly* better turn-in response. With 17s or 18s, you're going to get better ride, and likely a bit better accel/decel responsiveness w/the lower weight. Also better pothole, curb, etc protection.

I don't know if anyone has weighed them, but my guess is the 20s on the Limited are HEAVY boat anchors.
