TRD ORP Wheels/Tire Size

Hi Guys,

I do apologize if this has been covered a ton, but I just could not find my specific question I was looking for on google searches or a search here.

I am curious if 285/70/17 tires will fit on my stock TRD ORP wheels with a Icon Stage 2 lift, around 3"? Not so much rubbing on fender liners, but will it clear the UCA or other suspension components without interference.

It seems 285/75/17's will lead to more issues like BMC and heavy fender cutting which I would like to avoid, so I am leaning towards 285/70/17's as it seems they have less fitment issues.

pretty sure a 285/75 will put you firmly in the red, but you should search the forums to see who actually has these fitted and read their experiences

Do you have aftermarket UCAs?

Every 4Runner is a little different with what is tolerable, but I’m on 285s on the Pro wheels, SPC UCAs, with no BMC. Just needed to remove the mud flaps and I’m good even under full compression.

Thanks guys, the lift I am going with from ICON will have UCAs. I did see the 285/75's will put me in red which is why I was thinking of going with 285/70's instead. I do not have pro wheels, just the stock TRD silver with black accents.
