Half of the display illumination burned out yesterday, took it to the dealer today to get a price quote to fix it...$1,200!!! Tempted to leave it but I think it will drive me crazy. Anyone else have this issue?
That's a freakin' joke right. There are light bulbs that can be replaced for like $6 a piece. And it's pretty easy to remove the assembly. Just open the ash tray and pull out the fan and display units.
See the thread on how to remove and replace.

that did the trick. thanks
No problem. Did you happen to get the bulbs at the dealership or did you get them somewhere else? Reason I ask is I have to do it myself but havent gotten around to it.
Just wondering what the part # is for bulb on the fan/temp/time display unit?
I just ordered them from the dealer, $5 a bulb, part #: 9001009017.
I hope you didn't order them from the same dealer who quoted $1200 to replace them... they don't deserve a cent for those shenanigans!
