That is what she said...

Nope, there is no option for failure. I am taking my time and making sure everything is wired correctly.

I thought about re pining my plugs but some of the plugs aren't the same, so their terminals aren't the same.

I am using crimped on butt connectors, and heat shrinking every one.

Toyota really has overdone the newer vehicles ECM's. The V8 Ecm is tied into the Airbag system, the tailights, the brake lights, body ecm, Traction control system and 4x4 ecm. All which the V6 ecm did not have provisions for.

Toyota did away with a seperate Cruise control ECM and integrated it into the motor ECM. So wires that were ran to the engine compartment now need to be run inside to the ECM.

I realize that, I can't program my key to the ECM because the ECM needs to sense the door closed signal from the body ECM, which I don't have hooked up.

The temporary fix is tape the sequoia key to the transponder amplifier. It has been working.

As for conversions, this has been the most intensive one that that I have done.

For the record, I have converted Dielsel VW's to gas, installed a EFI Mustang Motor into a S10 pick up, Gas Benz to a Diesel Benz, shoved a VR6 into a Golf, a 16v 2L into a Golf, and a Acura motor into a Civic.

So, I will not have any doubts in its reliability.
