91 T4R A little oil in the Radiator!!??!!

Alright everyone - here goes the big QUESTION


---I have noticed a few "grey" droplets in the radiator before I flushed it the other day - And I have a pretty major oil leak coming down from high on the passenger side of the engine - I am not sure if it is a cam seal, valve cover gasket, or the head gasket. Would a bad head gasket cause a light amount of oil to get in the cooling system??? Would you beleive that there is NO Water in The OIL??? Yes the OIL is in the cooling system ... The oil looks good...so help me if you can - thanks everybody!!! - I am thinking of just going in and replacing a bunch of the gaskets & seals myself. I know I would have to shave the heads too.... Somebody please write back soon ... Thanks!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Check transmission

Do you have an auto transmission?
Check the fluid in there for coolant. Its not unheard of to leak from the trans cooler to radiator.
 
oil in radiator

Yep Its an Auto tranny, now the tranny fluid looks good. Thanks man... I will be checking that when I come back from offshore...

yes. oil can also go from your block into your water jacket when you have a bad head leak. Has your 3.0 been serviced for head gaskets yet?

Reviving a very old thread. I have the same occurrence--oil in the radiator, but no water/froth in the oil.

What was the outcome of your radiator issues? Head gasket? That's what I'm putting my money on but would welcome an easier explanation.

Doing the Bar's Head Gasket fix solution tonight. If this doesn't do it I'll be changing the head gaskets, maybe resurfacing the heads, this week.
