That had to be the most under-rated "dag-gummit" I have ever heard.

Dude left his Jeep 100' from the water to check on his campsite. The flash flood that occurred during that time took the Jeep

Yes that is what I read as well, flash floods are no joke.

Seems more like someone wanted to get rid of the Heep and collect the insurance on it.

According to the posting that jeep was $60,000. For $60k I would have bought something that would have crossed that river.....like a boat. Who spends $60k on a jeep?

Yep, every time there's a heavy rain in San Antonio you can bet there'll be more than one story of someone who drowned trying to cross a creek.

Some of the guys I know here in Texas have Jeep's that are outfitted as if they are on their way to Afghanistan to fight the Taliban. The favorite right now seems to be having their exteriors covered in Line-X.

That one didn't look like your typical bro'd out JK you see now. It lacked lightbars for one. But damn, you can't go two miles without seeing a lifted JKU with some combo of fuel wheels nitto mud terrains, lightbars, steel bumpers, a winch, etc. They're always perfectly clean and I know have never been wheeling. They've become more common than brodozers.
