need help

hey people im new to the 4 runner game . long story short i got ripped off with my 1992 4 runner . bad engine and tranny v6 auto . its in nice shape but i bought a 1989 4 runner with a 22 re and a 5 speed . i already pulled the engines and made the swap but my engine mounts wont meet and the wireing harness doesnt look anthing like the one for the v6 . i need help to find out what to do .. im sure that there is someone here that can help me . i am a mechanic but never did a toyota swap before . thanks .

You need the the 22re ECU and wiring harness or a good set of electrical schematics to do some splicing. You wil have to fab and relocate the brackets for the motor mounts. That is just for starters. Might be better off to do a 5VZ swap instead!

ok i do have the ecu and the harness from the 89 . but does this meen that i have to keep the harness from under the dash ? . cause i do have the 89 still . its obviouse that the plugs are different but im in the dark when it comes down to knowing if i have to change it all . thanks for your reply .
