Doesn't look too shabby. Didn't need a huge LED lit switch to draw attention to it. Attach quick disconnects to the back of the switch and run the
Drilled 3/4" hole above the dash light level knob. Pushed the switch on through, and tightened it down on the back.

all that to disable the lights? i just removed the wire from the harness. no problem.

True. Removing the wire from the harness or flat out cutting it works just fine. Personal preference, really. I wanted the ability to control them from a SPST switch. Had a few extra minutes and all the parts I needed.
