Pop out one of the blanks and fish the other end of your wires through. Just leave them hanging through the dash for now.

Solder the ends of the wires to the connectors. Then to avoid shorting the wires, put shink tubing over the wire and most of the connector.
Zip tie the wires to the harness to keep them tidy and in one place
Fit the switch into the blank. It won't be there perminently BUT if you attach your wires, you can find out how much slack you can cut from the wires.
Pop out one of the blanks and fish the other end of your wires through. Just leave them hanging through the dash for now.
I used a coat hanger to GENTLY fish the wires through the gromet.
Run two 8 feet lengths of wire through the gromet in the firewall. The actual distance from the switch to the connector is about 4 feet, but it makes
