i left off the oil change and tire rotation, which i know isn't but $30 or so. still it's about how much is your time worth... i have small kids(twins), so my time is worth a lot, to me.

brakes i recently got the brakes done at midas. new rotors(front) > pads (front)> installed for about $350. (with oil change and tire rotation) sometimes it's worth it for me to have someone else do it and i don't have to worry with it or spend my time away from my kids. plus when it's 105...

2004 w/145k its my wife's car. no major work. just oil changes, brakes, rotors. thats it, of course, at the 100k check up we had everything changed out(fluids, belts, etc) she said she wants to drive to 250k before considering anything else. :bluejump:

Do you have to change it as they suggest? We have had our 4runner for a year (purchase brand new) and never replaced the cabin air-filter until todays service - 30K service - i didn't know if it should be changed or just something they throw at you to get your $$ thanks

they said mine came with them (04) but it doesnt have the auto like some others do.. so i left them on to try and they turned of by themselves...also when you lock the truck with the lights on they turn off if you hit the lock button on the keyless 2x give it a try and see

Or 4 runner came with tint on the front windows 35% ( i guess) its not as dark as the back - but its tinted -has a sticker that says where it was done in Houston,TX - when they took it off the boat. before shipping the truck up to mississippi.

Re: You misunderstand totally If thats all your going to use it - dont worry about charging the thing while your not in the truck. a cell phone holds a charge for several days(if not used) If you use the phone then next time you drive the truck it will charge. Only take about 10-30mins to...

why lease a car...just nut up and buy the thing...that way you dont have to watch the miles and worry about the little crap like this.... just my .02

Bought a brand new 2004 at the end of Jan 05 had 460miles when we took it home - it now has 4700 miles on it. if the wife drives it to work (one way 40miles) if i drive it to work (one way 25 miles)
