I don't know what the under side of the cap should look like. Here's a couple of pictures. The lose fitting O-ring has a groove around circumference. Is that corrrect?

The filler neck looks clean. The O-ring on the cap looks to be in good shape. After locking the cap, I can move it from side to side slightly.

The studs are "T" shaped. There is no part nuber for the studs. Buying the whole grille with studs and back side frame is one part number.
