It just started to leak and smoke "got on the manifold"

My wifes runner had a malfunction yesterday... front diff is now leaking fluid.. I visually inspected it and it doesn't seem to be leaking from the shafts .. seems more like from the gasket ... any ideas on what could have caused this and how much it is commonly to get repaired??

The rear wiper and washer fluid pump stopped working on my wifes Runner today.... Any idea what to look for? Oh and the defrost button stopped working as well.

Ladies and Gents .. I am attempting to put together a trail run that will comprise of starting off at or north or the T-33 trail head in CO and then moving south till I get near the sanddunes ... can anyone or does anyone have a suggestion to trails to accomplish this? I want to stay on trails...

Either way it sounds like you all are asking for a four legged 90 + lbs projectile to decapitate you or take out the windsheild for a easier escape ?
