I once new a company that made superior struts for the rear hatch but I lost the company name. Tired of bumping my head and hope someone knows of a high quality strut, not looking to save money. The Toyota struts started to fail after 2 years.
Thanks
2011 4 runner for sale NYS
I just happen to notice your post because I am going to post my 4 runner for Sale. It is a 2011 Trail 4x4 with navigation and extended warranty about 35K miles. Vehicle is in great condition. Car has clear title and when the car was new someone just kissed my bumper...
I have a 2011 trail with 25k on the dunlops that came with the car. Want a good tire for my needs. I Drive 250 each week to fish and I go off road in the sand. Car is already great in the sand with the silly dunlops. I actually don't need to air down and usually only in 4wd without using low...
In my 2011 I do mostly hywy and I do get average 21. Upon filling it up and i think I have a 23gallon tank it reads 386 miles expected.
Good responses so far and I thank everyone. I have been flipping 4r's every few years and I should have stayed with my 2000.
I like hearing that you favor the 99. I foolishly went through 5 T4R since that year and now I am realizing if I stayed in mine it would still be a great car and I would have saved a ton of money on what I have spent buying newer ones.
I currently have a 2011 Trail and have owned about 5 T4R since 98. I am asking for help to know a good year or years between 99 and 04. I am hoping to be able to use this site to better understand the forums opinions on the different generations.
I would also like to know if I do consider to...
Just picked up my 2011 on Friday and drove straight to the sand. Love it and noticeably improved but all 4Runners are hard to be topped. My 07 was traded in, it had new revo2's w/ leather and nav, great on the sand.
Since installing my revo 2's 265/70/17 I read estimated gas distance is at 332. Before I was reading estimated at mid four hundreds. If this is right is seems like a big difference, any word on this?
Great reply and so true. Thanks for adjusting my reality, I am alway airing up and down and almost have it to a science counting seconds. It is just a shame the shop charged me over 100 for the new sensor after changing my tires. I can live with that and now to move on to other...
Well it has been a few visits back to get the Tire pressure light off with no success. Tonight I thought I would have to put a smile sticker over it not to remind me of the loss of its purpose. But the mechanic wants to try again tomorrow with the consultation of another mechanic. I will let you...
I also just put Revo's 265/70/17 on my 07 Sport and have not experienced any rubbing. Just having trouble with my Tire pressure light. I keep you posted about gas milage in a few weeks.
Thanks Chris, Your info is appreciated and helpful. I was aware there is danger damaging the sensors when changing tires and I guess I was unlucky. It is sad the owner would not fess up to it and I am tired putting people right. Everything was okay on bringing vehicle in,
sensor working and...
Finally made the decision to go with Revo 2's 265/70/17 on my 07 Sport. Probably paid top dollar to use a shop I am familiar with that does the high speed balancing. On my receipt I was charged over a hundred dollars for a tire sensor. When driving away I realized the tire light was on and radio...
