Need advice.
Want some good quality all weather tires for my 2019 4 runner limited.
Year round use.
The snow flake rating is required in some parts of BC where I live.
I do not need aggressive quasie off road tires.
I considered buying 18" rims, winter tires, and doing the swap 2x per year.

Thanks for the answer.
But as I only drive 8000 to 10000 miles per year just too long to wait.
I have not yet found a 4 season snow flake rated tire.
Will need to keep looking...
Decided I will need better tires for the winter
I initially thought the factory ones would be ok for a year or 2
Now I do not think so
The factory size is 245-/60R
Kal tire, a popular franchise here in canada, does not even list a winter or a four season tire in that size
Do not need off...
Toyota Canada site las a link to the 4runner owners manuals
In the main manual, pg 239 it refers to centre diff.
The service manager did not know this.
So confusion is over.
Thanks
toyota warranty questions
I have a new 2019 LTD on the way here in BC Canada.
My sales person has been a real straight shooter so far.
She mentioned a 4 runner buyer who installed after market cross bars.

This brought up Toyota warranty issues.
So I...
Was on the fence re SR5 vs limited for a bit
Decision made and am getting a 2019 limited
And tire size was not part of the decision at all
But since the 19” geolanders are on the way here is a question...
Does the larger size result in lower highway RPM?
And slightly better highway fuel...
good answers all...
good answers all, thanks...
I am in Canada and on Toyota Canada website has lots of details on the model differences
Build Your Toyota 4Runner - Toyota Canada
However I cannot see the words "centre diff"
Not intending to nock any impressions re one oil causing the engine to run quieter vs another but...
But one would have to compair clean oil x to clean oil y
And not dirty oil x to clean oil y
Has any one compared the 4runner off road (non pro model) vs limited?
My use is backroad camping
City and highway driving also
On the limited:
I like the sound system better
Off road:
The shocks seem a lot stronger over rough pot holes
The diff lock will come in handy some day
I am guessing...
