The $5k was including labor, but still, I think you're right, it is too much. I'm just so bummed, it feels like someone just chopped my arm off.

So the title sums it up. Shop says $5000 to replace it. Not sure what they want to charge for a rebuild, but I would want to do the rebuild myself if that's the route I want to take. I'm thinking about a 3.4 swap, but I am broke. Any thoughts? R.I.P. Felix.

find a yard with the parts, replace.

Pretty sure the heat over time would just burn it all off...

That's the one I was talking about. I used the dolly to tow a truck that's HEAVIER than a runner and it was fine. This is a beefier trailer with its own brakes, so I don't see the problem.

I used the two wheeled dolly to tow my friends FJ60 with my 2nd gen runner and it did the job fine. FJ60s are equal if not greater in weight than a runner. I'd use the duelly trailer w/ the surge brakes and tow it with any burly V8 you can get your hands on. If my V6 runner can get his heavy...

Hey all- So having run my battery down yet again(3rd time this winter), I've decided to fix the buzzer we all hate. The odd thing is it only buzzes when I have the key in with the door open. It is silent when I've left my headlights on, which is the ONLY time I'd like it to work. Any ideas...

Aside from the cheesy blue city lights, anyone ever bought these lights? I've seen these around on line but there always 2x more expensive. Just curious if anyone's ever gone with the cheapo ebay special. I plan on not wiring the city lights, FYI. I wouldn't be caught dead using those So Gay...
