This is offically my start of boycotting Grand Blanc Toyota. I talked to the owner today and he said because my car was not serviced previously by a "Certied Toyota Tech" that basically he screwed it up even though they were the last to work on it and it never had the problem before they worked...

I got it fixed. When the Dealer replaced the fuel pump they got the vent line and return line switched around because they had part of the line replaced with rubber hose! Thanks for your help!

Yes because when I unhooked the line going to the vapor canister it sprayed fuel all over my engine compartment.

Ya but so bad that if u drive 10 miles it leaks a big pool of gas all over the parking lot from up by the vapor canister? I understand building up pressure but this is definately a unhealthy building up of pressure and not natural

Have had a absolutely horrible experience with their service department. They replaced the fuel pump and ever since It has been leaking out the vapor canister because they didnt vent the gas tank right. There suggestion was...no joke..drill a hole in my gas cap so it could vent....nevermind that...

Please help!! Would like some peoples opinions! Thanks!

Ok, So i posted earlier about my vapor canister replacement but I'm pretty sure that is not the problem. Sunday I unhooked the vapor canister fuel line to see what would happen since im not driving it because the alternator is dead. So today I go out and undo the gas cap and it's still building...

Can I just clean the old one or something tho? The new part is over $200. The Toyota Dealer said it is the Vapor Canister so...

My 4runner has been leaking gas so i took it in. It seems to not be venting right because when I undo the gas cap u can hear all of the vapors rush out and it has been leaking gas by the vapor canister. I took it in the Toyota dealer and they said the vapor canister is clogged up, sound right...

was it leaking on the drivers side? my 4runner leaks oil on the drivers side, is this probably from the "oil cooler"? how hard of a job is that to fix? thanks!
