Ok, So i got my K&N Air Filter and put it in today and then my 95 4runner wouldn't start. I had this problem before and took it in because I was also having fuel pump problems at the time. I guess some sort of vacuum leak or air sensor was what was causing the problem Also when I had this problem before I had messed around with the air filter. I have looked all over under the engine compartment and cannot find anything unhooked. Everything seems to be hooked up. Can anyone help? Just when I started to get some confidence back in my 4runner it disappoints me again.
4runner won't start, replaced air filter, something unhooked?

I always start by checking the two basic things:
Gas and Spark.
If you turn the key to on without starting the engine you should hear the fuel pump for a second while it pressurizes the gas lines, if you don't hear anything the pump may be done.
Maybe you knocked a wire off while changing the filter and it's not getting any power to the ignition.

Check the MAF (mass air flow sensor) it should be attached to the Air-box snorkle.

More info "won't start " is vague at best.......
does it try to turn over, starts then dies, starter clicks...etc..

Ok, Got the Coil replaced also with all new plugs and wires. Before changing the plugs and wires It would start and run fine but it would only start ocassionally but once it started it ran fine, Id turn the key and it'd crank and crank and wouldnt start then it would start after cranking for a few minutes. Now the I replaced the plugs and wires it does the same thing and runs fine just doesn't seem to be as bad and it will start more but still not consistently. Should I also replace the cap and whatever else goes in there? What all would that consist of? Thanks guys for your help!
