I thought you listing the time it took to do wasn't exactly a "how to" and if you would have said remove the coils since that is what those mystery boxes are and behold you will find the spark plug boots then you might of had something.... I had done all the looking what I needed...

NGK was bought out by Denso so there are no more NGK in production atleast not in this part of the world and if you haven't changed the plugs in your truck which it seems as though some of you haven't then shame on you, beause this could have been answered by someone who has...
I was on ebay and it seems that were dozens of sellers with cd-rom shop manuals are they legit and the same as what you can order from Toyota at a fraction of the price,... I think they were no more than $25 and from my local dealer they were maybe $50 let me know if you have had any experience...

I noticed on your thread that you noted using denso and ngk, I went to toyota and they gave me 6 Denso k16tr11 and since I changed the driver side only I can't say what is in the passenger side but that is what I removed from the driver so could you shed some light on that for...

Ok what are the little black boxes that are bolted to the valve covers? They are in the picture that peter78 posted just below the air intake duct there are three I assume they are covering the spark plug boot, I know I need a picture but the wife is driving it at the moment...
I'm trying to figure out how to change the plugs on passsenger side of my 3.4 but cab't see the spark plug boot there are some black boxes covering where they should be, but don't want to venture into something without hearing from someone else first . Thanks, Gunner
