Those of you who've owned previous generation 4runners and now own a 5th gen do you think the new ones are built as well as the older 4runners?

This is pretty amazing! Even down to the year and color of our 4runners.

My dad is a state trooper. He's seen it all and I've heard his stories. If you have to be involved in an accident this is the kind you want, i.e., no one was hurt. Glad you're OK.

I bought my dad's 03 SR5 4x4 V8 with 44000 miles for $14,700. I tried to haggle with him a little but he was stubborn and said it was the blue book value or he was trading it in. So I bought it. I love the thing. Dad bought a new 2015 limited.

I'm buying my dad's 03 4 runner. It's low mileage (44,xxx) but it's also 12 years old. I know there's a mileage recommendation for replacing the timing belt. Is there a time limitation with the timing belts?
