Aren't there two transmission designations between the two? a340h and a340f? Or was that strictly year dependent?

The multi mode uses a common fluid with the transmission (atf) while the conventional (non-limited model) case uses gear oil and is sealed from the transmission. That's the limit of my understanding at least.

I believe there is some width issues between the two. I would triple check external dimensions if ordering offline.
