I've been having a vibratory noise from the bell housing for a few years now. And now I've noticed that it slams into gear (reverse or drive) when shifting from park, or one to the other. Sometimes it will even spin the tires on pavement, spun all 4 in 4lo unloading off the trailer the other day.
My question is, should I look anywhere else before replacing the converter and/or transmission? I can't think of much else that could cause this.
