Ok but the rad I have seems pretty screwed and, on some bad advice from a mechanic, I poured 2 bottles of radiator stop leak into it and now I'm worried it's bunged up with gunk. Are the expensive LCE rads at least of very high quality? I plan on keeping this runner for years and don't mind...

That's what I thought, especially since I only spent 1000 on the truck. The frame actually looks much better everywhere else and the welder I found will fabricate the new pieces to weld on and he is a certified (by ICBC) structural truck frame welder/fabricator.
