It was not there before replacing the fluid and I replaced the alternator about a month before with a new Denso unit so not concerned about it being that bearing.

This same thing happened to me. Changed power steering lines, flushed with Valvoline max life as well and same whine that you mentioned during cold start that goes away within a couple minutes. I’m starting to think it might be the fluid.

Well I cleaned out the speed sensor mounting hole, replaced the sensor, and cleared the codes only to continue to get ABS engagement at low speeds and the codes returning after 10 minutes. My next step is ABS wire testing. Does anyone know where to find the continuity ranges for the speed...

I have not checked for play in them since my last tire rotation about 3000 miles ago although I haven’t noticed any noise coming from them. I’ll be sure to check again once I get a chance to get the truck back on the lift

Has anyone gotten the codes C0205 and C1236 and simply cleaned the speed sensor to fix them? I replaced that same sensor about a year ago, albeit with a cheaper than OEM part, and am just wondering if cleaning might actually help or if I should just go ahead and purchase a new sensor.

Just completed this today and it was pretty simple. Thanks for the write up! Of course I ended up breaking a couple of the bolts that hold the bumper on but that’ll be replaced in a little bit of time anyways

Checking to see if anyone has had issues with installing a Sunsong high pressure steering hose on a 2UZ-FE 4runner. Worked pretty hard to get it lined up when installing and was able to get a good 15 turns by hand before it became a little too tight. Used a wrench for the other turn or two but...

Anyone who replace their high pressure line with the sunsong have an issue where the line did not screw all the way down into the rack? I tried by hand probably 4/5 times and was able to get about half way then it was too difficult so I went with a wrench after that but there are still threads...

A correction mine are actually Dorman, not Mann. Noticed after looking through my order history. Part number 47137 on Amazon. They are adjustable but in order to get a good spray pattern you have to have them angled all the way up. I’ll try to take a pic of the pattern this afternoon for you.

I’m using the Mann replacement fan sprayers from Amazon. If you angle the nozzles all the way up they spray well although they do sputter out on the hood right before they spray the windshield. This bothers me a bit but having the fan spray pattern has been worth it.
