Alrighty, let's have some pics. How did you mount your lights? I was thinking about something discrete like some thin ones in the slots of the valance or big ones behind it (trying to keep the stock look).

I have a radar detector coming in the next few days, but I hate the look of the dangly cord down into the cigarette lighter. What does it take to permanently connect one of those bad boys into my 4Runner?

Anyone successfully removed the side-view mirrors before? I couldn't see any obvious way to do it. I'm considering adding some custom LED in or on mirror turn-signals but wanted to see how this would work.

My dad's Tahoe did that, it needed a new rear-end, also bent the drive shaft after a while.

Did you happen to notice any other inputs back there? I'm trying to devise a way to hook up an MP3 player to the six-disc I've got coming in the mail.

Mine needed an exhaust valve adjustment $$$, only running on 5 cylinders. Definitely needs to go to the shop either way.

Nooooo... I've never had a manual transmission vehicle before, but I get the feeling you're right. It's really tough to get into fourth gear as well.

Do anyone else's gears grind every time you shift into reverse? Is this normal? I usually just turn up the radio and pretend nothing happened, but I guess I need to get this checked out.
