This is the ONLY way the lever would function but this is not how I took it apart, the lever bracket sat on top and the bolts screwed in from the bottom instead of the top.

Can anyone post a picture of their hood release lever and the bolt orientation? I reinstalled exactly how the oem latch was mounted but now it can’t move enough to pop open

1000 % stick with oem. I used strong arm at first and the head of one sheared off and shot into the top of my hatch and dented the panel and cracked the paint

They don’t all seem the same. Taco vinyl fits horribly on an 08, also horrible at replying to messages to take care of it.

Has anyone here bought this style grille from taco vinyl?
