I will be loading a video of wiring soon to my YouTube channel. Also my truck is getting a upgrade this winter. 200hp and 380ftlbs. Almost double stock numbers, and still anticipating 25+ mpg.
Thanks for all your support!
It's been completed once already just reinstalling with a 4runner body on it and making some adjustments to the prototype designs. FMIC, tilted radiator better piping, modified cooling routing.

I disconnected my battery..... Still only 176 miles in the new TDI swap and not one mile of it off-road. I'm a bad Toyota owner.

They are interchangeable in the cluster for sure, but you will need the pigtails and harness connections to make them work on a 84 style Because that would be a carburetor style harness.

Seriously, they are super easy to fix!
9/10 of the many I had to fix it just needed to be cleaned because the contact had corrosion.
4crawler has detailed walkthrough on how to test and fix!

I don't have a problem shipping one but would love to be able to drive one home for sure but if it runs and drives well it won't be as cheap as I would like lol
The less I spend the better but I. willing to spend good money for the...
Do you have trailer wiring?
The reason I ask is most places that installed it back in the day used crappy butt slices. I had a similar problem on another 4runner ended up having to replace the wiring completely as those butt slices rotted away the wire and shorted to others in the harness back...
You can just use 5/8 heater hose that the local parts store sells by the foot for like 1$/ft and brass 45° or 90° barbed fittings. From the hardware store.
