Can someone help me get the FSM for an 06 4R

Specifically looking at wiring diagram for FUSE 44 ACC (in cab fuse panel)

It keeps blowing the factory 7.5 amp fuse :ybrick:

If you have a 1990 vehicle or later, pretty much all of the FSM info is available on the Toyota Technical Information website here.

You can get a two day subscription for $15, and during that time you can download as many .pdf's as you want. The entire FSM for a 1994 4runner is about 400 files, so it's a bit of a chore, but if you just set aside a Saturday afternoon with a good internet connection it's not too bad. The advantage is you get a completely legal set of documents specific to your vehicle. You can also download the full color wiring diagrams, which are way better than the black and white line drawings in the FSM.

If you're good with java scripts, you could automate the download process and make it easy. You just have to traverse an html directory tree.

Do you have to subscribe before you can see what's available for download? I've checked for a 1994 4Runner but all it shows is the Emergency Responder info.

You can see what's available for each model year by clicking on some obscure links in the system. This link should get you to a page where there is a table of available manuals vs. model year.

If you then click on the model year on the top row, you'll get a page that shows availability for each vehicle in that year (4runner, Camry, etc.)

Have you tried the classifieds here , or on Craigslist? The factory manual set is worth it, I have a set for our 1990(3 volumes + update book). It's already paid for itself many times over. You might also try some of the discounting dealers. I bought ours through Toyota, was a little over $100. The detail in it is amazing.

I have a 1987 Toyota 4runner. I know an 1988 is still a 1st gen.

Can I assume that the 1988 FSM will work for the 1987?
