    The Trefecta P0440, P0441, P0446 Need Adivce

I have a 2002 4Runner, ~160k miles (I bought it at around 147k). I got the codes awhile ago, did some research and charcoal canister seemed to be the most likely candidate. I find one from a junk yard on eBay and swap it out, reset the computer. Codes come back after ~600 miles. Darn. Okay so...

    Center Stack Stack Clips

I'm not sure what to call them other than "clips". If you've ever had to remove the trim around your center stack (radio, hvac, etc.), you have these metal clips that secure to the plastic and lock the pieces into place. I recently bought a 2002 and did some maintenance (bulbs, aux input, etc.)...

Newly Acquired '02, Suggestions for Preventive Maintenance?

I called my local dealer to see if they had the spark plugs and they asked if I wanted copper ($.3.99 ea) or iridium ($13.75 ea). Pretty big price difference, are the iridium ones worth it?

Which OEM Headunit Supports CD Changer?

Thanks Joel for the offer but I'm going to hold off for now. PIE customer service got back to me and said PAC Audio may have a solution. I'd like to find a unit that gives me composite R/L hookup for my clarion aux cable that I want to mount.

Which OEM Headunit Supports CD Changer?

Thanks for the pics. I have the same head unit as you - the AD6803. I tried the PIE-TOY-AUX2 and I pressed every combination of buttons and could never activate it. Then I emailed PIE and they told me they didn't support the AD-series (not that it says that anywhere on their site). So what type...

Newly Acquired '02, Suggestions for Preventive Maintenance?

Been looking at the 2002's for a long time. I knew exactly what i wanted, SR5 w/ sport package. Finally found one in decent condition, good carfax, 144k miles. The mileage made me a little nervous but I couldn't pass it up. Got it for ~$7800. Looking for suggestions on things to do for...

Which OEM Headunit Supports CD Changer?

I recently got a 2002 4Runner that came w/ the AD6803 head unit. It has a CD changer port so I purchased the PIE adapter which didn't work. PIE emailed me and let me know that the AD-series of head units isn't supported (which is frustrating since I couldn't find that disclaimer on any of the...

    PIE-TOY-AUX2 Not Working

Just an update for anyone who stumbles onto this thread. Got an email back from PIE, apparently *none* of the AD-series of head units is compatible. This is not mentioned anywhere on there site (that I can find). Now I want to figure out what stock head unit a 2002 4Runner would have came with...

    PIE-TOY-AUX2 Not Working

I just purchased a 2002 4Runner w/ the AD6803 head unit. I surfed the forums a bunch and decided to purchase the PIE-TOY-AUX2 and a Clarion stereo to aux cable. Seemed like a pretty straight forward install. Today, I take off the dash, take out the head unit, plug in the PIE and...nothing. I...
