Alright guys I took it off (will post pictures sometime) and am looking to buy a couple HELLA lights for the front grille.
will the lights mount directly on the grille via some sort of tabs? orrrrrr
Yeah I'm starting to dislike it a lot, it really does make the front end tooo long.
Does anyone of pictures of a non-lifted 4runner with lights mounted on the grille?
I have a 2000 4x4 Limited I'm selling with 79k miles on it. It has all of your requirements, minimal mods, however it has an automatic transmission, if that's a deal breaker..
I live in Iowa, shoot me a message if you're interested, I'm looking to get rid of it quickly.
They're the Toyo tires, and I definitely have been happy with them. Very smooth, especially compared to the BFG A/Ts i used to have on my old truck. And yeah the brush guard is a hate it/love it thing. Some days Im mad its on there some days I like it. haha.
On my old ranger I ad the in-channel ones. Looked more factory-ish but had a problem with the fit. With the window rolled up it allowed for some air to get through the window making an awful whistle sound.
So this time I got the stick on ones for the 4Runner, just to be safe.
I have a Hunter grille guard..which is basically the eBay version of the Westin brush guard. It only cost me $175 shipped..half the price of the Westin and I'm happy with the quality as well.
I also just ordered some tail light guards off of eBay and should get them in a day or two. They were...
Same. my rockers are getting chipped to shit and i just can't stand the puke color to be honest. haha. If i do it i'll take a lot of pictures and do a short write up or something also.
Did you do any prep work? or is it basically just clean and cover up the existing paint and touch it up when necessary?
Basically my parents are causing a fit (I'm 18), about me possibly "ruining a perfectly good paint job" so I'm trying to make sure that this turns out really well.
