I'm looking to replace my 24F battery with the bigger 27F. Will a 27F fit in my 6-cyl '06 without modifications? Any downside besides the extra weight?
Has anyone tried replacing the battery in the fob from the OP? Mine's still going strong after more than 2.5 years but I figure we'll have to replace the battery at some point.
Thanks. So is the dealership my best bet for getting a genuine OEM tail light? I see some on Amazon from 3rd party sellers but not sure I can trust it.
What's the best place to buy a driver's side tail light replacement?
Is OEM recommended or are there good aftermarket options that look exactly the same?
Had to buy a new Interstate battery for my '06 V6 at Costco today. When I looked up the size on the website, 24F is what comes up but the guy said I could choose between that or 27F.
I went with the 24F just to be safe but I'm wondering if I should've opted for 27F. Thoughts?
Experiencing the same thing a week after getting a smog check. No check engine light and but all 4 of those lights are on.
Crossing my fingers that tightening the gas cap does the trick.
Experiencing something similar on my '03 Sport V6.
Check Engine, VSC TRAC, VSC OFF and Slip light are on.
Going to try disconnecting my battery and tightening the cap.
I can just disconnect the negative terminal right? Anything else I need to know? Should I wait a certain amount of time...
Very happy with the VW-style fob that I bought from the eBay seller in California.
Got the blank cut for $7 from a local locksmith so it was around $27 total for everything. And the two instructions in this thread for programing the remote and chip worked as advertised.
