Where to buy a tail light replacment?

What's the best place to buy a driver's side tail light replacement?

Is OEM recommended or are there good aftermarket options that look exactly the same?

Aftermarket looks the same during the day, but the brightness is much less than the OEM ones. If you replace both it won't be noticable, but only one you will be able to tell a difference at night. For the 06+ LED ones at least.

Thanks. So is the dealership my best bet for getting a genuine OEM tail light? I see some on Amazon from 3rd party sellers but not sure I can trust it.

LKQ parts is a good place to look. Basically a nationwide chain wrecking yard with warehouses in major cities. Their website also shows new aftermarket lamps in the search results as well.

OEM take outs are usually available on FB Marketplace, CL and even the classifieds here. There were two sets locally where I live recently, but I just checked and they're gone.
