it's a 6. By lots of wear on the underside I mean - It needs to be scraped/wire brushed and a coat of Rustoleum or undercoating applied.

Is there any fuel mileage difference between auto V6 and Manual V6 in the 3rd gen???

Note taken. I am correct, however, that the first number is tire width and doesn't affect odmeter performance. Heehee. Just killin' time guys, take no offense.

Look at any tire site, NTB, Firestone, etc. The first number listed is the tire width, the next is height, the next is wheel size. I set my new and old tires side by side on the wheels and the new is about 10 centimeters narrower, same height.

No umbrella needed Ron. The 235, 255, 265 etc. measurement on these tires has to do with the width of the tire. The width of the tire has no bearing on the odo. Thanks for the thought though. I had a 70 and kept a 70, just downsized the width, hence the lower weight to drag around town...

I just purchased a set of Firestone Destination A/T, 255/70/16's. These look great and aggressive (enough) and i actually am getting an additional 20-30 miles per tank in the last two months. I had 265/70/16's in the past and tried these to see if i'd gain any mpg's. I averaged 19.3 mpg prior...

I have always subscribed to the drain and fill as opposed to the flush and fill theory. Our Runners have a screen, not a filter, if I'm not mistaken. This allows for several drain and fills before a filter replacement/cleaning is needed. Email me with any questions. [email protected]
