While you're in there, be sure to replace your bushings on your steering rack too, theyre probably causing a lot of the tracking issues you're talking about.

Yeah bro that's a smokin deal. I wouldn't honestly expect to find one with that few miles less than 8. I bought my 2000 with 225k for 5k, granted it had a bunch of extra and maintenance records, but 6 is a great price.

Easiest way to tell if it's your bushings or not is to have someone turn the wheel while your under the truck back and forth. If the bushings are like jelly, replace em. Pretty easy, takes a couple hour and a half or so. Same goes with the steering rack, if it's turning before your tires do...
