I hate installing alarms and keyless systems. My absolute nightmare. I installed for years and I'm not a fan.

That being said, my factory keyless system just crapped out. The little fuse box whatever is the issue under the dash, allegedly.

My question is this: if I install an aftermarket RCS/security/keyless system, will the keyless function of the aftermarket system function?

I have an Autopage system on my 99(was installed by p.o.) and the remote lock works fine.

Yeah it'll work cuz the whole brains w/b replaced by your new unit. You'll get whatever features your new unit has, I'd look for remote start. Wonderful to have when its really hot and really cold. My system was 119 at frys, but the install is a mother, 6 hours....
