Front Right:

Toe: .12

Front:
Cross Camber: 0.0
Cross Caster: -.3

Bumping this up because I had a question about my toe spec. I don't have my sheet by my drivers side has .02 degree and the passenger side has .1 degrees. Is that too much of a difference in toe? I've noticed most of you guys are .01 and so difference but mine is .08.

I got the lifetime alignment and was doing this (about every two weeks) getting everything the way I want it, and the third time in the manager told me I couldn't come back for a few months or they weren't going to do it. Has anyone else experienced this with the lifetime alignment? This is what I paid for, and feel I should be able to come back every day if I want to. I SPECIFICALLY asked if there were any limitations when I bought the lifetime alignment and was told there were none.

Total BULLSHIT!!! I would call corporate tomorrow. That is a corporate sponsored special, or go talk to that guy and have him call corporate. A company that big would replace him on the spot. I have this for my wife's car and talked to the manager, he said it's no big deal do it everyday if you want, corporate foots them the bill and it keeps customers coming back.

I think the spec is .1 to .1 Your cross toe is 8 thousandths of a degree. Your fine.

Unless specified in the contract, there is no limitation.
One thing I have learned is if I have to force someone to do something the result is often shoddy and unsatisfactory. I want to do business with competent people who want to to do business with me. This always produces a better result.
In commerce one sometimes must force the tradesperson or vendor to make good on an agreement. Forcing him/her to do produce higher quality work is usually unsuccessful. This may be because they are simply incapable or because they have a non constructive attitude.
Were they doing good work? No. Are you returning because they just can't get it correct? Yes. Then get a refund. You can't fix stupid.
If they do good work a constructive discussion with the manager may resolve the dilemma. If they are professional and capable and honest and reliable and etc, he may see your frequent visits as implicit criticism of him and his crew. When a professional is good at what he does he provides real value. It is important that he knows that you appreciate and value the time and effort and good work he and his crew do, that you want to be a customer not because you get free stuff but because they do good work.
He probably thinks you're being a dick by bringing it in every 2 weeks just because you can, that the only purpose served is satisfying your desire to make their lives miserable and waste their time simply because you can. He may not understand that you are "getting everything the way you want it." Explain why you have been returning so frequently and that once you "get everything the way you want it" he will not see you every 2 weeks. Explain this is one of the reasons you purchased the lifetime deal. If he understands your return visits have a constructive, reasonable and finite purpose then his perspective may change. He may say, "Ok, I get it."
A meeting of the minds will result in an agreement to continue the relationship or sever it. Severing it merits a refund.

Bump, as I just got an alignment yesterday.

4th gen 17s with 265/65's which are more or less stock ride height.
Notes on the receipt said rear camber was off but could not adjust. Any idea why they'd say that/be unable?

The rear is a solid axle and can't be adjusted in any way. It's slightly cambered due to tolerances and won't affect anything, no way of making them perfectly straight.

Not any adjustments to adjust back there. Usually this is caused from bent or damaged rear suspension or axle components. Bad wheel bearings can also cause this.

Thanks for the replies. Hopefully it is within the tolerance and isn't seriously out of whack. Vehicle hasn't been in any accidents or serious off roading that I know of so wouldn't think there would be serious rear axle damage. At least hope not!

Sorry for bringing this thread back, but just wanted to post my numbers. Fresh tundra/LC lift, first alignment (Firestone lifetime). Pre alignment, I felt the truck not wanting to turn back straight by itself. Post alignment, feels a little better, but now has a slight pull to the right, but haven't driven it very far since the alignment. Alignment cams now both face the drivers side, is this normal? Both were facing up prior to alignment. After reading through this thread and some suggestions from a guy I know, I may be getting spc arms in the future, along with new tie rod ends, rack bushings, and balljoints. Probably not all at the same time, but will align after each change. Again, sorry for bringing up an old thread, but I just wanted chime in and maybe get some feedback. Thanks!

Warning huge rant starts here:
Regarding Firestone I would like to say that here in the Bay Area, (specifically the Oakand, Berkeley, El Cerrito and Hilltop locations) are completely incompetent dickheads!
I believe services like these depend greatly on the community which they serve and the standard that community holds them to. Here in the Bay Area most people don't know the difference between an oil change and an alignment, so these establishments can provide the WORST service known to man kind and get away with it!
One of the many many horror stories from my firestone lifetime alignment days was from the Oakland location I brought my old 4Runner in for an alignment and I decided to wait there while they worked on it. In the middle of them wrenching on the car I spot one of the guys using VICE GRIPS to adjust the alignment cams! I questioned him as to what he was doing? and he said that the tool chest with the wrenches was locked and that was all he had!? Then he told me that the alignment cams are stripped and I need to purchase new ones, no **** they are stripped you *******.
Anyway I take my keys and try and drive away, as soon as I pull out of the driveway I know something is seriously wrong, my right front tire is dragging and skidding down the road as I drive in a perfectly straight line.
I ended up needing to leave the car there over night and they didn't offer to even give me ride home or pick me up.
Other experiences included being yelled at and threatened by a huge gorilla of man at the El Cerrito location when I questioned why they couldn't get the alignment within spec on my 100% stock 2004 VW Touareg. I literally just simply asked in a very polite manner when they handed me the print out, the guy behind the counter simply said that they couldn't get it within spec and that if I wanted in within spec I should have gone to the dealer! Mind you this was after I purchased a full set of tires from them and they were not offering to refund the alignment! I question him again asking why he sold me an alignment if he cant even do it?! And then he walks away and out comes this violent angry giant idiot screaming at me in the lobby with other customers sitting there.
Anyway my take on it is PHUUCKKK firestone they are the least professional establishment I have ever had to deal with! I would rather pay a small shop 180 dollar for each alignment then get the lifetime from these grease monkeys!
They also got black grease all over the light grey head liner of my Touareg..... I have many more horror stories from days of doing business with them all I can say is if you live in the Bay Area and respect yourself or your vehicle avoid them like plague!

Your caster is way out of spec and why its not returning to center. If you got some SPC arms that will net you at least 2* or more caster. This will push the tire forward and help clear the firewall when running larger tires.

The pulling to the right could be bad LCA bushings on that side. I have replaced entire front end, aligned and still was getting pulling to the right and bad tire wear on that tire.

Come to find out all my lower bushings are toast and Im in process or installing them.

Never worry about where the cam bolts are facing if the computer specs are in spec.

How far off is 2010 sr5 to a 2000 limited? Got mine done a few weeks back and just noticed they used specs for a 2010

If you look at the horrible image above, the specs are to the left and right inside of the colored bar. Compare those numbers to what you got and see. But truthfully, I'd take it back and have them redo it using the correct vehicle specs, even if all they do is take readings and print it out. You paid for it!

You've got negative caster. Those numbers should be positive. I don't have any faith that those #s are good. The tech may have made a mistake when doing the caster sweep. Truck could have rolled. The turnplates could be binding or still in the locked position. Also, unless you have something bent, your cam eccentrics should be mirror images of each other Or at least close to it.

You need new upper control arms. I'd like to think that my alignment specs are close to ideal

I have on recommendation that is possible. This is from experience with personally doing alignments on these vehicles. When actually making the adjustments, the caster on these vehicles goes in the opposite direction of what it will actually be when it sweeps. If an inexperienced tech doesn't notice this, they will do the sweep and think they have the caster maxed out, when actually it's at its minimum. I hope I explained it in such a way that it's understandable. Anyone else wanna chime in on it?
So the measurement goes toward the high end?

Make sure the steering wheel is straight also. Everywhere I've gone the wheel comes out crooked. I have to go back to Toyota for them to correct it, although the specs are good.
